Maria Costaki is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She received her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and she also holds a Master of Education from The University of Western Ontario. Maria has worked as an elementary school teacher and as a Special Education Resource Teacher in Ontario for 35 years and her passion for helping others led her to pursue a career as a Registered Psychotherapist since her retirement from teaching.

Maria offers psychotherapy services for children, teens, and adults who are currently experiencing anxiety, depression, work-life balance challenges, have parenting questions, lack emotional regulation, have diagnoses of ADHD, learning disabilities, or are on the autism spectrum.

Maria offers supportive, client-centred, strengths-based care to all of her clients in a safe, non-judgmental environment. She uses a variety of modalities depending on the client’s personality and preferences but mostly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She brings a culturally sensitive approach to therapy and offers services in English, French, and Greek.
