Susan is a Certified Child Psychotherapist, Play Therapist and Theraplay Therapist with 20 years experience. She is a member in good standing with both the Canadian Association for Child and Play Therapy and the Theraplay Institute of Chicago. In 2013, she was honoured with the Monica Herbert Award for her contribution and dedication to Play Therapy in Canada. Susan has contributed to the second edition of Theraplay: Helping Parents and Children Build Better Relationships Through Attachment-Based Play. Last year, Susan was invited to BRAC university in Bangladesh where she taught a play focused program which is now being used in schools and early childhood play centres across the country.

Susan’s work focuses on younger children dealing with a range of concerns, such as, attachment related issues, anxiety, depression, and general behaviour problems. With a big tool box of ideas and treatment options, Susan offers child and family-focused help which produces long term change in both attitude and behaviour.
