Dr. Andrea Koster-Baier
Dr. Andrea Koster-Baier began working in private practice in 2004. She is a licensed clinical psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2004. Prior to this, she attended Queens University, where she obtained her degree in psychology. Dr. Koster-Baier’s experience includes a variety of hospital, community mental health, school and private practice settings.
Dr. Koster-Baier has trained in various hospitals and clinics in London, including London Health Sciences Centre. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in Pediatric Psychology at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Koster-Baier has also studied paediatric pain at McMaster Children’s Hospital and London Health Sciences Centre. In addition, she worked with Childcan, an organization that supports families and children diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Koster-Baier has worked at the Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) in Burlington, providing assessment and treatment to children and their families for a wide range of presenting challenges. She has also worked for the Niagara Catholic District School Board, providing psychoeducational assessments.
Dr. Koster-Baier provides assessment and treatment services for children, adolescents, adults and families in the areas of clinical, health and rehabilitation psychology. She has a special interest in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, depression, stress-related illnesses, and chronic pain. She is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).
